Pro farming tips from a hard working troll trying to feed his troll babies.

I'll tell you what they are not, titanium, saronite, frost lotus, and not Pungent Seal Whey

A lot of players are caught up with farming high demand minerals and herbs when they should be trying to farm high profit items instead . For the daily joe wow player he sees many popular materials flooding the AH, borean leather, eternals, etc and thinks "MAN, I GOTTA GET ME SOMMA THOSE UNS." And then goes and grinds for hours to make a couple hundred gold.

"This is ok' at best, it makes gold, gets the job done and gets the troll babies fed. But I don't like feeding my troll babies any ole Talbuk steak." - Magwitch

I'm concerned with some farmers and their inability to research good items to farm. While the product might bring in some gold, it might not bring in the best gold making material. I'm talking efficient farming.

What you want to farm is an item with high demand, and low supply. This will give you a BIG price and a BIG PROFIT. So this leads me into my two secret materials you should be farming.

Cobalt Ore:

While its not the most popular for sure, it does come in abundance and it does make the golds start rollin' in. It doesn't sell as fast as saronite sometimes but it consitantly sells for a high price. You don't have to sell your auctions within 2 hrs of posting them, you just have to sell them before your post time runs out or your wasting money.

Many people don't farm Cobalt after they've leveled their mining and blacksmithing, which leaves a low supply. This also leaves the high rollers' (not myself L ). Looking for someone to sell them some Cobaly ore in bulk so they can level their blacksmithing.

Average price I can get for a stack. 25g (all day long too!)

Gold Clover:

Basically the same situation as described under the cobalt ore. Not much else to add except people want it for different professions. It is easily farmed in the starting areas of Northrend and sells for a bucketload.

Average price I can get for a stack.. 25g (yes, all dayagain)

Worst case, I have to feed my troll babies Goldclover soup
